Biafo Hisper Glacier Trek – A Legendary Karakoram Adventure

Embark on one of the most challenging yet rewarding treks in the Karakoram—crossing over 100 km of the Biafo and Hispar Glaciers. This trek takes you through 30 square miles of icy wilderness and a 1.5 km thick glacial lake, offering an unforgettable experience.

The Biafo Hispar Glacier system was a formidable challenge for explorers until the 1930s when Eric Shipton pioneered a route over the Karakoram watershed into the Shaksgam Valley, Xinjiang. Our trek follows in his footsteps, crossing these massive glaciers while exploring the Inner Karakoram’s remote landscapes.

Starting from Askole, we begin on the K2 Base Camp route before turning onto the Biafo Glacier. Expect breathtaking views of the Ogre, Latok peaks, and countless unclimbed summits while trekking across vast ice fields and cracking glaciers.

Join this epic adventure and experience the untouched beauty of Pakistan’s Karakoram Range!
